He was with the Judicial and Legal Services before entering the private practice. He has served as a Senior Assistant Registrar at Kuala Terengganu (1980-1982-1983), as a Magistrate in Kelantan (1982-1983), and as a Federal Counsel at the Attorney General’s Chamber prior to being called to the Bar in 1985.
